Established in 1989, we are proud to have contracts with Local Councils, Hospitals, HM Government, and most local business customers based in Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and further afield.

In addition, A1 Cars are extensively used for journeys to and from the airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and Norwich and we make many journeys to the London Theatres and return, whilst shopping trips, locally or to Cambridge, etc, are a daily occurrence.

Your safety is of paramount importance to us which is why we use TEXT BACK to send you a text when your taxi has been dispatched. The driver will also send you another text when waiting outside for you, together with the make, model and registration of the car. This service is FREE and part of our commitment to get you home safely.

We also have additional safety features in place for nightclub and young person fares to ensure their safety and that of our drivers.

All our vehicles are fitted with the latest in-car communications via our computerised data system, and are constantly monitored by our control room using GPS tracking. We are therefore totally in control, and are able to offer assistance immediately if required.
